Recently I bought few things on amazon. I want you to know what I have bought.
I really don’t like situation when scrapping cold butter takes you more than than making all sandwich in the morning. I thought that I will buy a butter keeper. Butter keeper is small not complicated thing made from porcelain.Usually the are neat small jars. What’s best it’s not very expensive usually $5-$10. You fill it with waterr and it creates a coat that doesn’t allow air to make butter outdated. Water needs changing every three days. History of butter keepers is very long, decades ago people used to keep butter in waterr to keep it fresh for a longer time. This method was created to keep butter fresh for a week but not longer. Now butter keeper allow you to keep butter fresh for a month.
Silicone oven mitt is the best thing you can buy. It resist heat up to 500 degrees F.Anything hot is not a problem now.You can wash it really easily.You can simply put it in a dishwasher and that’s all you don’t have to wait when it dries etc. And what happens when you spill boiling hot waterr on your hand ?Silicone mitt is much safer because waterr won’t soak in it. It will save you from hot oil if you are a fan of Chinese food. Another great advantage is that it’s very hygienic because it’s made from silicone. There is only one disadvantage, it’s not very handy but I have already seen three fingered mitts so this problem is already solved I think.
